Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Collaborate with system architects and design engineers to implement digital logic functions for memory controller IP in FPGA , support these designs through all phases namely design-verification-implementation- timing closure-validation- release and customer support
- Work on hardware PCB and systems bring-up related to the FPGA designs and different memory interfaces.
- Support customer requests/issues for various implementations in their platforms.
- Prepare hardware platforms for delivery to customers.
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrade tasks on existing controller IP.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Proficiency Verilog, system Verilog RTL coding.
- Experience with using industry standard simulators e.g. Siemens Questasim
- Experience with using lab tools, logic analyzers, oscilloscope etc.
- Experience with AMD-Vivado
- Experience with multiple vendor FPGA tools e.g. Microchip Libero
- Experience interpreting datasheet information to create relevant timing and physical constraints during synthesis/implementation
- Ability to debug Firmware and OS issues in the FPGA
- Protocol knowledge of QDR-II, QDR-IV, AHB, AXI-4, SPI, I2C
- Experience using PCB design tools such as Allegro, Altium
