Freight Procurement Specialist (Up to AM Level)

Job Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate freight service providers (shipping lines, NVOCCs, airlines, transporters).
• Negotiate competitive freight rates, service contracts, and payment terms.
• Develop and maintain freight procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams for shipment planning and booking.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely shipment delivery.
• Prepare and maintain freight rate databases and cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Transport, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in freight, shipping, or logistics industry.
• Analytical and good problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Good time management, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
• SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Familiar with freight market & freight rates negotiation.
