Summary
The Front-End Developer supports the Application Manager in implementing and executing initiatives aligned with the IT division's strategy. This role focuses on delivering flexible and modular solutions by analyzing user requirements, designing, and developing user interfaces that interact seamlessly with back-office systems. The developer also provides recommendations and solutions to ensure optimal alignment with user needs.
Job Responsibilities:
Design
- Own and manage a portfolio of solutions, ensuring scalable and performance-optimized architecture and design.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective system solutions.
- Lead the development, design, and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
- Serve as the IT/technical lead for small to medium-sized projects that support business growth.
Development
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct unit and system integration testing (SIT) before deploying for user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Support and resolve issues identified during UAT.
- Provide second-level production and incident support in collaboration with first-level support teams.
IT Application Management
- Implement strategies based on business needs, long-term goals, and innovative design.
- Execute mid- and short-term strategic plans in response to evolving business environments.
- Conduct thorough technical assessments to support risk evaluation processes.
- Ensure all deployments follow established change and release management protocols.
- Monitor system health and ensure high availability through proactive controls.
- Manage initiatives and projects to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Maintain complete and accurate SDLC documentation for all initiatives.
- Resolve second-level incidents within defined service levels.
Project Scope
- Handle projects ranging from small to high complexity as the Senior Technical Developer, accountable for end-to-end application delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Application Managers, Product Managers, Business Planners, vendors, and infrastructure teams.
- Lead initiatives such as the development of new portals or revamping existing ones to enhance user experience for external users, partners, and customers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 35 years in a senior developer role focused on digital IT systems.
- Proficiency in Mandarin language to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of AEM architecture and tools like JCR, Sling, OSGi, DAM, and workflows
- Experience connecting AEM with Adobe tools like Analytics, Target, and Campaign
- Skilled in building AEM templates, components, dialogs, and bundles
- Hands-on experience with AEM data migration and backend integration
- Solid front-end skills: jQuery, Vue.js, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Good understanding of databases like SQL Server, Sybase, and Oracle
- Familiar with Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Comfortable with Unix systems and WebSphere Application Server
- Proven track record in delivering IT projects with strong expertise in application and technology implementation.
- Domain knowledge in insurance operations and distribution channels is highly desirable.
