Role Description The Front Office Agent is a full-time, on-site role based at our Hilton property in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring accurate handling of reservations and payments. The Front Office Agent responds to guest inquiries, provides information about hotel services and local attractions, and addresses any concerns promptly and professionally. Daily tasks include maintaining a well-organized front desk, coordinating with housekeeping and other hotel departments, and following Hilton standards for guest service and safety. The role requires consistent adherence to brand guidelines and a commitment to creating a positive, efficient, and friendly experience for every guest.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
  • Basic administrative and front office skills, including handling reservations, check-in/check-out processes, billing, and record keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using hotel management or property management systems and common office software; experience with POS or payment systems is an advantage.
  • Good spoken and written English; additional language skills are beneficial for interacting with international guests.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Previous experience in front office, customer service, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Relevant education in hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field is an advantage.
