Job Purpose
The Operations team is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the E-commerce business by managing the day-to-day operations of the E-commerce platform. This includes managing inventory, customer service, logistics, and supply chain, and ensuring that all operations comply with company policies and procedures.
As the Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the Operations team, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, overseeing order fulfillment, and ensuring that customer service standards are met. You will also work closely with the Head of Operations to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance of the E-commerce business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operations team, setting goals and objectives for team members
- Oversee inventory management and order fulfillment processes
- Ensure that customer service standards are met and resolve any customer service issues that may arise
- Work closely with the Head of Operations to develop and implement strategies to improve the overall performance of the E-commerce business
- Monitor and analyze key metrics such as inventory turnover and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, finance, and IT to ensure that the E-commerce business is running smoothly and efficiently.
Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in E-commerce operations management or a related field
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with inventory management and order fulfillment processes
- Experience with customer service management.
- Experience in E-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Behavioural Skills
- High analytical capability - good with numbers
- Clear verbal & written communication skill set
- Preferably with good negotiation skillset
- Sensitive & ability to stick to timelines/schedules in consistent manner.
