About the Role
We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in React and Python to join our team supporting a leading client in the financial services industry. This is a client-facing role, offering the opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Europe region, driving innovation and delivering high-quality digital solutions.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing cloud-enabled applications, bridging both frontend and backend, and ensuring scalability, security, and seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Python (backend).
- Engage directly with business stakeholders and users in Europe, gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and aligning deliverables.
- Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions on cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Participate in system architecture discussions, contributing to technical design and best practices.
- Develop APIs, microservices, and integrations with existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, product owners, UX, and client teams.
- Troubleshoot, optimise performance, and ensure high application reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 610 years of experience as a Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer.
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component architecture).
- Hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask, or equivalent).
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with relational / NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to the financial services or banking/insurance domain is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Git, containers (Docker), and agile development practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders confidently.
- Experience working in regional or global environments preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-driven mindset.
Nice to Have
- Full-stack breadth beyond React & Python (e.g., Node.js, TypeScript, microservices).
- Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, Cypress).
