Role Overview
We're seeking a Fullstack Developer who can move seamlessly between frontend and backend development. You'll play a key role in shaping products that deliver seamless, scalable, and delightful experiences to our global user base.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain fullstack applications (frontend and backend)
- Develop and optimise APIs, databases, and cloud-based systems
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to ship impactful features
- Write clean, testable, and scalable code with best practices in mind
- Stay on top of modern development trends and propose innovative solutions
- Lead system architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and strong observability
- Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and high-traffic API performance
- Implement caching, rate-limiting, and efficient data flows for feeds and interactions
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment workflows
- Collaborate closely with web/app teams on API contracts and product requirements
Who You Are
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, React (or similar), Node.js, and PostgreSQL
- Skilled in databases (SQL/NoSQL) and API development
- Experienced with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- Independent, proactive, and able to deliver with high ownership
- Ideally, 3 years of developing web/fullstack app
- Bonus: Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, or microservices
- Nice to have: Python or any equivalent backend experience
