Your new role
This company is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and own core application and platform components for a deep-tech AI startup in the energy sector. You will work closely with the founding engineer and take ownership of end-to-end features spanning frontend, backend, and supporting platform foundations. Over time, you will also guide junior engineers working on API and UI implementation. This is a hands-on technical role combining application development with responsibility for code quality, testing, and deployment foundations.
What You'll Need To Succeed
- Frontend web interfaces to configure, inspect, and interact with application logic.
- Backend services and APIs to support application workflows and data processing.
- Data pipelines and background workers for analytical and rule-based processing.
- Version-controlled application logic, configurations, and workflows.
- Automated tests to ensure changes do not break existing behaviour. (unit and integration tests, with some regression coverage).
- Logging and monitoring to help engineers understand system behaviour and debug issues.
- CI/CD pipelines and containerised environments for consistent development and deployment.
