We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Full Stack Engineer to help us scale and support our platform. You'll be joining the team powering everything behind the scenes as well as crafting the user-facing experiences. As a full stack engineer, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and improving both the backend services and the frontend applications that drive Swipey.

In this role, you will:- Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components to improve responsiveness, performance, and usability
- Design and implement clean, maintainable, and scalable solutions for web applications
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and partner consumption
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, frontend engineers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and robustness
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across the stack
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Participate in architectural, design, and product discussions
- Work in an agile environment with an excellent team of engineers
What you'll bring to the team:- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (Django preferred)
- Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development
- Experience with REST API design and implementation
- Strong knowledge of SQL database technologies
- Experience deploying applications into production environments
- Proficiency with version control (Git)
- Strong understanding of test-driven development and automated testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative spirit
Nice to have:- Knowledge of containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or Celery
- Familiarity with monitoring and performance tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sentry)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure knowledge
