Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and proven presales experience. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of ERP functional consulting experience, with a passion for helping clients transform their business operations through technology.

This role is suited for someone proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and technologies while engaging directly with clients in both consulting and presales capacities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Engagement & Presales

  • Support the sales team in presales activities, including product demonstrations, presentations, and responding to RFPs/RFIs
  • Understand client needs and propose tailored Business Central solutions aligned with business goals
  • Contribute to solution proposals, scoping documents, and Statements of Work (SOW)

2. Requirement Gathering & Analysis

  • Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with clients to capture business requirements (finance, supply chain, inventory, reporting)
  • Document requirements in Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
  • Map business requirements against Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central capabilities

3. Solution Design & Configuration

  • Configure and customize Business Central modules to meet client requirements
  • Ensure solution design follows best practices in finance, accounting, and business processes
  • Work with technical teams on integrations, customizations, and reporting solutions

4. Project Delivery

  • Support full implementation lifecycle: design, configuration, testing, UAT, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live support
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards
  • Manage change requests and maintain scope alignment with clients

5. Testing, Training & Support

  • Develop UAT test cases and support UAT execution
  • Conduct end-user training and prepare training documentation
  • Provide post-implementation support and ensure high client satisfaction

6. Continuous Learning & Growth

  • Stay updated with latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central features
  • Explore and recommend new technologies to improve solutions and internal practices
  • Collaborate with team members and mentor junior consultants when required

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Hands-on presales experience (demos, presentations, solution proposals)
  • Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and business process flows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable with a passion for learning new technologies
