About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of
Microsoft Dynamics BC/NAV solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation planning and the delivery of value-added work, to scope and budget
- Conduct Business Requirement Analysis and document findings
- Perform gap-fit analysis documentation and presentation to customers
- Configure systems according to customer requirements and conduct internal testing based on customer scenarios
- Present prototypes to customers and obtain sign-off
- Coordinate with the technical team to get customizations done and test scenarios
- Provide training to customers for project and calendared training sessions
- Manage change control processes effectively
- Design and execute data migration strategies
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and obtain sign-off
- Provide go-live and post-live support
- Assist with pre-sales activities and demos
- Guide and mentor new recruits
- Contribute to strategy activities, such as improving the R Systems Implementation methodology and R Systems standard features and functionalities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics BC/NAV
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Preferably having a diploma or degree in Information Technology
- Having a degree/diploma in finance and accounts is also encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with data migration and system integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
