Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test scripts, test conditions, input test data, and expected results for one or more test plans, including component, assembly, product, performance, user acceptance and technical architecture tests.
• Develop, update, and maintain testing standards and procedures.
• Execute test scripts.
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the project's problem and issue management plans.
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
• Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
• Validate product fixes.
• Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.

Job Specification:

Qualifications:

• Diploma with Computer/IT related major.
• Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years
• Manual Testing, Test Management, Banking (Debit or Credit Card/Acquiring/Issuing).
• Relevant Work Experience:
• Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, Agile Testing, Banking (especially Internet Banking).

• Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
• Strong attention to details - able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts as well as defects tracking documents (i.e., steps to recreate the problem)
• Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle
• Basic foundation knowledge in Banking (Debit/Credit Card)
• Able to handle assignment independently with minimum supervision
• Technical knowledge in banking applications.
