Lead, IT Security Policy & Awareness

Job Responsibilities

• ️ Lead IT security governance processes to align with banking industry strategy & goals
• Advise on security policies, standards & best practices across the bank
• Ensure security assessments are done & fixed on time
• Review change & firewall requests for policy compliance
• Protect systems by identifying & solving security issues before they become problems

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (Security, Network, or Systems)
• 8+ years in IT security within Malaysian banking / Financial Services
• Knows ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, compliance, policy writing, and service continuity
• Familiar with regional regulators rules (e.g., BNM for Malaysia, plus MAS, BI, BSP, PBOC, HKMA)
• Understands networks, protocols, security tools, OS/database/app vulnerabilities & how to fix them
• ️ Strong English communication – can explain security simply to non-tech teams & write clear policies
• Experienced in working with different stakeholders across the bank
