We are seeking for a highly motivated and meticulous Fund Accounting Executive. As a Fund Accounting Executive, you will be reporting directly to the Manager of Operation and Finance. This role is suitable for final-year students or fresh graduates who are seeking to gain hands-on experience in the capital market industry with the main focus on fund operations and reporting.
You will be expected to:
- Manage all accounting and operational aspects of all Funds, including calculating Net Asset Value (NAV) and ensuring accurate data entry in the General Ledger (GL).
- Assist in preparing and submitting various reports, such as fund valuation report, equity transaction report, investor reports etc.
- Reconcile cash balances and portfolio holdings to ensure consistent information with trustees record.
- Maintain accurate records of portfolio transactions in the portfolio management system and relevant spreadsheets.
- Manage data entry and filing for proper record-keeping.
- Assist in updating daily fund prices on various avenues, ie: website.
- Maintain and update investors database and portfolio holdings record.
- Support client onboarding processes and launching of new funds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate basic understanding in financial statements and interest capital markets.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and eager to take on new tasks and challenges.
