Role Overview
The General Manager, Corporate Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping the Groups long-term direction, driving corporate finance initiatives, and leading group-wide restructuring efforts to enhance value creation. This role requires a seasoned leader with strong strategic, financial, and execution capabilities, who can partner closely with senior management and the Board.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of corporate strategies, long-term business plans, and investment roadmaps to drive sustainable growth.
- Spearhead corporate restructuring initiatives to consolidate operations and optimize capital efficiency in preparation for public listing.
- Evaluate and advise on investment opportunities, M&A activities, and partnership structures to maximize shareholder value.
- Develop and track group-wide KPIs to monitor performance against strategic objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership and Board members to shape and implement corporate finance strategies, including funding and capital allocation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor moves, and regulatory changes to provide timely strategic insights.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 1215 years experience in corporate strategy, corporate finance, or investment banking, ideally with exposure to real estate, infrastructure, or large-scale conglomerates.
- Strong track record in leading corporate planning, M&A, restructuring, or IPO-related initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and Board members.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with proven experience in managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
