General Manager opportunities across Malaysia with IHG Hotels & Resorts.

IHG Hotels & Resorts is building a pipeline of experienced hotel leaders for upcoming General Manager opportunities across Malaysia, including both established hotels and exciting new developments.

We're looking for commercially driven leaders who can deliver strong business performance, build high-performing teams, and create exceptional guest experiences.

The role

• Lead hotel operations and drive sustainable commercial performance.
• Take ownership of financial results, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel success.
• Build strong relationships with owners and key stakeholders.
• Develop and inspire high-performing teams and future leaders.
• Lead hotel openings, transitions, or business transformation projects where required.

What we're looking for

• Proven hotel leadership experience with a strong commercial mindset.
• Demonstrated success in delivering operational and financial performance.
• Experience in pre-opening, repositioning, or turnaround environments is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management and owner relationship skills.
• Familiarity with Malaysia or similar markets is beneficial.
• Open to experienced General Managers as well as high-potential first-time General Managers.
