We are seeking a dynamic and visionary General Manager Neuromodulation APAC to lead our business across the Asia Pacific region. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving growth, shaping market strategy, and ensuring operational excellence across a diverse and complex region. You will lead commercial performance, develop high-performing teams, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, distributors, and government agencies.
As a member of the Neuromodulation International Leadership Team, you will play a key role in aligning regional priorities with global objectives, fostering innovation, and delivering sustainable business results.

Reports directly to the International Head Neuromodulation OUS. Acts independently within Abbott policies and objectives to achieve regional goals. Responsible for organizational strategy, resource allocation, and operational success across APAC, leading a multi-country team and cross-functional stakeholders.

Essential Functions
Market Focus
- Develop a deep understanding of APAC market dynamics, customer needs, reimbursement pathways, and regulatory environments.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities and risks.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, payors, distributors, and government stakeholders.
- Lead the APAC business with full P&L accountability, delivering financial commitments and sustainable growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews to ensure execution against strategic and operational objectives.
- Anticipate and mitigate financial, commercial, and operational risks.
- Define and execute a clear growth strategy for the APAC region.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to expand market presence and accelerate growth.
- Engage strategic partners and distributors to strengthen business performance.
- Translate divisional strategies into actionable regional plans with clear objectives and KPIs.
- Drive commercial excellence across sales and marketing activities.
- Inspire and engage teams to successfully execute business priorities.
- Foster strong collaboration across Finance, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, HR, Legal, and IT functions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to deliver above-market growth and enhanced profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, policy makers, and industry partners.
- Represent Abbott and the Neuromodulation division across the APAC healthcare community.
- Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, industry standards, and local regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience within the medical device industry, preferably Class III devices.
- Proven experience managing a regional P&L and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to grow market share and lead in competitive healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multicultural, and matrixed environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively across APAC and internationally (approximately 50%).
