Operating through owned international subsidiaries and wide aftermarket dealer networks, the company is entering a transformation phase as the founder transitions into a governance-focused role.
Job Description
You will oversee all sales activities for both local and international markets, managing overseas teams and driving structured commercial execution to scale the automotive and industrial aftermarket business. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the overall sales strategy across local and international markets, aligning commercial plans with the company's growth and transformation agenda.
- Manage overseas sales teams, building performance, capability, and disciplined execution.
- Strengthen and expand market presence by evaluating channel performance, restructuring territories, and onboarding high-potential partners.
- Support strategic growth opportunities such as distributor stake acquisitions and multi-brand expansion to build long-term market ecosystems.
- Drive new market development by analysing opportunities, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviour in high-growth regions.
- Elevate sales operations through improved forecasting, reporting, KPI discipline, and process standardisation across all markets.
- Work closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics to ensure alignment between market demand, production capacity, and order fulfilment.
- Build new commercial support functions, including technical/product management and marketing, to support the next phase of scaling.
- Enhance the sales culture by embedding structured processes, performance accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with the founder and senior management on long-term commercial strategy, organisational development, and future succession planning.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements
We are seeking a structured, commercially strong sales leader with proven experience in automotive or industrial aftermarket channels. Someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial SME environment while bringing process, discipline, and leadership depth. Key requirements include:
- 8-15 years of B2B sales experience, with strong regional or international market exposure.
- Proven experience managing distributors, channels, or aftermarket networks.
- Successful track record leading multi-country sales teams or subsidiaries.
- Strong in structured sales processes, forecasting, reporting, and KPI governance.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader able to build teams and scale capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in an SME that is professionalising and evolving.
- Strong leadership presence, communication skills, and cross-cultural agility.
- Mandarin-speaking preferred; willingness to travel internationally.
