Role Description: This is a full-time remote role for a Geologist at Handalan Sdn Bhd.
The Geologist will conduct and interpret geological investigations to support soil engineering, trenchless construction technology, and infrastructure projects. Day to day tasks include planning and executing field work, performing geological logging, developing geological maps, and collaborating with engineering teams to provide subsurface interpretations. The role also involves applying geophysical methods, coordinating drilling programs, analyzing geological and geotechnical data, and preparing clear reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external clients.
The Geologist will work closely with project managers, engineers, and external partners to ensure that geological inputs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:

Strong field-based skills, including Field Work and Geological Mapping, with the ability to plan and execute site investigations safely and efficiently.

Proficiency in Logging and Drilling operations, including core description, sampling, and coordination with drilling teams.

Experience with Geophysics techniques and their application to subsurface characterization and infrastructure or construction projects.

achelor's degree or higher in Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences, or a closely related discipline.

5.
Ability to analyze and interpret geological and geotechnical data, and produce accurate maps, profiles, and technical reports.

6.
Familiarity with GIS, geological modeling, or related software tools is an advantage.

7.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.

Awareness of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards relevant to engineering and construction projects; prior experience in infrastructure or telecommunications
