Job Description
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful GL Specialist Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of general ledger functions and accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
