Job Description
- Handle general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful GL Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- An eye for detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
