As a
GL Accountant, you will need to ensure accurate accounting for all transactions booked in the location's books. Making and reversing accruals to reflect the operations of the company. You will report directly to General Ledger Accounting Manager, Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare applicable VAT, Tax and other statutory returns including annual accounts
- Manage the analysis of accounts according to business requirements
- Handle Month end closing journals
- Able to work independently on improving efficiencies and streamlining finance process flow.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements.
- Account reconciliations following corporate guidelines
- Prepare books in US and local GAAP
- Other ad-hoc requests as vital
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree desired, or associate's degree plus relevant work experience or overall equivalent work experience
- Good in Microsoft Office and Accounting System experience
- Minimum 2 years accounting experiences
- Working experience with either Shared Services company, MNC or public listed company
- Able to speak and read in Chinese and English
- Inventive and a phenomenal teammate with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and ambitious environment
