- Leading customs classification service delivery and acting as the escalation point for complex classification matters.
- Driving global classification governance, policy implementation, and process harmonisation.
- Ensuring compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and audit requirements.
- Monitoring classification-related risks and maintaining robust internal control frameworks.
- Developing performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting standards to support operational excellence.
- Leading digitalisation, automation, and system enhancement initiatives, including SAP and SAP GTS-related projects.
- Managing and developing a globally distributed team while engaging with senior stakeholders across Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, and business functions.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
- 8-10 years of experience in customs classification, customs compliance, foreign trade, or trade compliance functions.
- In-depth knowledge of customs classification principles, trade regulations, and tariff classifications.
- Experience classifying both chemical and non-chemical products.
- Familiarity with supply chain operations and international trade processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and SAP GTS.
