Position: Global Project M&E / MEP Engineer (Expat Role) Deployment | Mandarin Speaker

Locations:

·      Europe: Dresden, Germany

·      Asia: Kumamoto, Hiroshima, Tokyo, or Osaka, Japan

1. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Site Execution & Supervision: Direct physical installation of mission-critical systems (HVAC, Electrical, OR Process Piping) in advanced Cleanroom environments.

·      Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the technical bridge between the main contractor, local sub-contractors, and facility owners. Lead daily toolbox meetings and resolve on-site physical clashes.

·      Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict zero-dust protocols and ensure all installations meet the world's highest semiconductor safety standards.

·      Progress Tracking: Monitor daily construction progress, prepare technical site reports, and ensure project milestones are delivered on schedule.

2. MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS (For Agency Screening)

·      Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering. (Strictly mandatory for EU Blue Card / Japan Work Visa approval).

·      Experience & Industry: 4+ years of hands-on site management experience in M&E / MEP. Direct experience working in Cleanroom environments or Semiconductor Fabs is strictly required.

Specialization: Must possess a strong hands-on background in at least ONE of the following core Fab MEP modules:

• Mechanical: Cleanroom HVAC & FFU systems (temp/humidity/pressure control), Chillers/Cooling Towers, CDA (Compressed Dry Air), UPW (Ultra-Pure Water), Exhaust/Smoke systems, and Fire Protection.

• Electrical: HV/LV Power Distribution, UPS/Generators, Cleanroom Lighting, FMCS/BMS (Facility Management Control System), FAS, and ESD (Anti-static).

• Process Piping: High Purity Gas, Specialty Chemicals, UPW, Process Waste, and Process Vacuum (Strictly separated from general M&E water piping).

• Language: Professional working proficiency in English AND Mandarin (Chinese). Mandarin speaking is mandatory as the candidate will need to liaise extensively with the core project management team and specific Chinese-speaking vendors on site.
