Join Asahi Global Procurement in Kuala Lumpur leading global transformation projects and supporting the rollout of Asahi Group Procurement Services (AGPS).

This 12 month fixed term opportunity, with later possibility of extension will help coordinate the transfer and global consolidation of Asahi's Procurement Operations into the new Kuala Lumpur AGPS HQ, establishing clear plans, governance and stakeholder alignment as AGPS matures.

Reporting to the Global Transformation Director and working closely with the AGPS Director, you will connect across global and regional Procurement teams. You will also partner with Finance, Legal, IT, Process Excellence and Change Management, collaborating across Asia, Japan, Europe and Australia.

This is a critical appointment to maintain momentum and continuity across a complex transformation agenda. Your leadership of project governance, risks, dependencies and communication will help regional transitions progress smoothly and ensure key milestones are delivered to agreed timeframes, quality and budget.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead disciplined PMO delivery across complex, international transformation activity, maintaining momentum, governance and stakeholder alignment as regional operations are consolidated into the Kuala Lumpur hub. You will be responsible for:

• Leading project plans, governance, RAID logs, milestones and KPI reporting.
• Coordinating regional activity transfer and integration into the Kuala Lumpur hub.
• Managing senior stakeholder communication, expectations and dependencies.
• Partnering with Finance, Legal, IT, Process Excellence and Change Management.
• Supporting resourcing, knowledge transfer, best-practice sharing and adoption.
  
  

About You

You are a confident and pragmatic transformation professional who can drive pace, influence without authority and work effectively across cultures. You bring strong PMO discipline, clear communication and an outcome-focused approach. You will have:

• Solid PMO or project management experience in complex, global transformation programs.
• Fluent English and strong stakeholder management across a global matrix.
• Experience in multicultural, international and multinational environments.
• Comfort working independently, making decisions and navigating ambiguity.
• Eligibility to work in Malaysia without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to travel and work in Asahi's regions.
