GO13522034 Tax Specialist GST & Corporate Tax (Insurance)

The Company

We are supporting a leading Insurance organisation and seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their team on a contract basis as part of a multi-year engagement.

The role will cover a combination of BAU corporate tax and GST work, as well as project responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with strong Singapore GST experience, ideally with an insurance background and previous Big 4 and commercial experience.

The Role

. Supporting day-to-day Singapore GST and corporate tax matters.

. Supporting the GST ACAP project, including the review of GST processes, controls and documentation.

. Reviewing GST treatment across transactions and helping to identify and address any issues or gaps.

. Working closely with Finance, Tax and other internal stakeholders throughout the project.

. Supporting data analysis, reconciliations, testing and documentation.

. Working with external tax advisors where required.

. Supporting other tax-related projects and ad hoc requirements as they arise.

Your Profile

. Strong Singapore GST experience and a good understanding of local GST requirements.

. Insurance industry experience is important for this role.

. Big 4 experience preferred, ideally combined with commercial / in-house experience.

. Good knowledge of corporate tax and general tax compliance.

. Comfortable managing both BAU and project-based responsibilities.

. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

. A hands-on approach and the ability to get up to speed quickly.
