We are currently looking for a dynamic Graduate Trainee - Customs to be part of the Finance department in BMW Group Malaysia. The role will be exposed to Finance areas and will provide an opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting brand.

As part of the role, the Trainee will be providing support to the Finance department on the preparation, submission, and coordination of applications related to the Industry Linkage Programme (ILP) and Open Market Value (OMV) with relevant government agencies (e.g. MITI, MIDA, Customs). The trainee will also assist in ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with regulatory guidelines and timely follow-ups to meet internal and external deadlines.

What awaits you

Responsibilities include:

• Assist and liaise with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Product, etc.) in compiling and preparing ILP applications process.
• Support in gathering and verifying documents for OMV submissions to Customs.
• Support central projects providing advice from a local customs control perspective pertaining to MY Customs laws and regulations.
• Support SDAB/SDAI on regulation related export vehicle, kits importation matter, duty drawback, endorsement etc.

What you should bring along

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, international trade, or any related fields.
• Passionate in growing his/her career within the related spectrum.
• Excellent multitasking and coordination skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• A dynamic, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
