SCOPE OF ROLE:
Using creative skills combined with commercial awareness, to showcase perfection and detail-oriented artwork, and to collaborate as part of a creative team submitting designs, layouts and concepts for all promotional material and special events held and organized by the hotel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- To participate in idea generating and concept exploration with local management and / or functional team.
- Production of design concepts for posters, flyers, brochures, signage and other promotional items used by the Company as required.
- Deliver accurate and high quality production-ready artist's impressions for major promotions held within the Company and any locations so assigns to.
- Execute and provide a finished product as per approved design concept.
- Apply innovative designs and prepare the layout for local and international on-line and print advertisements.
- Assist in the layout and artwork required for the hotel's monthly newsletter.
- Serve as a liaison between purchasing department / vendor identifying specifications and requirements.
- Keep abreast of design trends and modify according to Company requirements.
- Contribute to the growing library of designs through artwork produced and best practice research
- Act as the Company's photographer ensuring a record of various promotional and to attend all special events outside of working hours.
- Check and maintain conditions of displayed posters within all Company's locations and business units.
- Execute work as directed by the Head of Marketing Communications / Marketing Communications Manager.
- Exercises flexibility to perform other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:-
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in graphic design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in F&B/ retail industry will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and overall design abilities.
