Your new role
As a Corporate Finance / Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the group. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading origination and execution of corporate finance projects such as business valuations, M&A, fundraising, and market entry studies.
- Developing and reviewing financial models and templates to ensure accuracy and actionable insights.
- Managing group budgets, forecasts, and financial risk assessments, and preparing reports for the Board.
- Driving process improvements and tax restructuring initiatives to optimise cost efficiency and compliance.
- Overseeing investment evaluations, post-investment audits, and negotiating financial structures.
- Building strong external relationships with bankers, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Leading and mentoring the finance team to ensure optimal performance and succession planning.
What you'll need to succeed
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial modelling, or funding.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced financial modelling skills.
- Experience in project finance is an advantage.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
- Integrity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges.
