Group Head of Infrastructure

Our client is an established regional organisation within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector, operating across several markets in Asia. It is now seeking a Group Head of Infrastructure, to lead the stability, security and evolution of its technology backbone.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead the overall direction of IT infrastructure, security and operations across the group. This includes setting the strategy for cloud, networks, data centres and end-user systems, while improving cybersecurity and system resilience. The role will ensure that critical systems are reliable, risks are managed properly and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.

You will work closely with senior business and technology leaders to align technology plans with business needs. The role also oversees service performance, vendor management and cost control, while putting in place clear standards and governance across all markets. In addition, you will lead and develop internal teams, building strong capability within infrastructure and security functions.

Requirements

You should have extensive experience leading IT infrastructure, security and operations within a large and complex organisation, ideally across multiple countries. A strong understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, network architecture and cybersecurity is essential. Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or other regulated industries would be an advantage.

This role requires a mature and practical leader who can engage confidently with senior stakeholders, make sound decisions and ensure day-to-day operational stability while driving improvement initiatives.
