Group Leader Process and Equipment in Final Test Sensors

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic andexperienced Group Leader to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of associates, fostering their professional development and ensuring the highest levels of competence within the group. You will serve as a central point of contact and a stable home base for your team members

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring operational excellence, driving continuous improvement and implementing the strategic development of competencies within yourteam and for Bosch Semiconductor Penang as a whole. You will be in charge of resource allocation, including hiring new team members, and ensuring compliance and highest quality standards with all internal and external regulations.

As a Group Leader, you will act as a role model, embodying the We LEAD Bosch principles, and actively shape the competencies of your team to meet strategic demands.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong focus on coaching,mentoring, and team development.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment and manage competencies within a technical team.
• Excellent organizational and resource allocation skills, including experience with hiring and budget management.
• High analytical skills in the Production environment (Ideally within Semiconductor Final Test Environments)
• A deep understanding of technical concepts and manufacturing equipment (electrical and mechanical) and the ability to take technical decisions.
• High level of awareness for Quality
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and networks both internally and externally.
• A commitment to continuous learning and self-development, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Required Technical Skills:

• Experience in Pick and Place machines including Tape and Reel, ideally from Cohu
• Experience in Semiconductor Tester Systems and data evaluation of tested Data
• Ability to quickly learn about a new MES system and all corresponding satellite systems (data processing, tracing tools, data evaluation tools)
• Ability to understand the data structure of our production IT environment
• Cognitive ability to fast understand where processes are stuck and what needs to be done to drive trouble shooting with Equipment Engineers, Test Engineers, Manufacturing IT and Product Engineers
• Experience in other packaged semiconductor device handling machines and AOI processes
• Skilled in reading electric and mechanical drawings for trouble shooting and advising the engineers and technicians how to solve issues in case they are stuck with their own trouble shooting
• Ability to look into production and IT processes and identify weak points and propose improvement actions to the team
• Fast understanding what is the consequences of a deviation of the process and what is an adequate technical/organizational action that must follow
