A fast-growing private healthcare group offering comprehensive medical services through its flagship tertiary hospital seeks a dynamic and experienced Group Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and tender execution across its healthcare operations.
Your new role
As a Group Procurement Manager, your responsibilities include the following (but not limited to):
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple hospital sites, ensuring cost-effective procurement aligned with clinical and operational needs.
- Manage end-to-end vendor relationships, including selection, performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and compliance with healthcare standards.
- Oversee large-scale tender projects, from documentation and bid evaluation to stakeholder alignment and final award decisions.
- Drive procurement strategies for indirect and clinical categories, leveraging market intelligence and internal data to optimise spend.
- Ensure procurement processes meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, while supporting hospital-wide goals for quality, safety, and efficiency.
What you&aposll need to succeed
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
- At least 6-10 years of procurement experience with minimum of 3 years in a strategic role
- Healthcare or hospital experience preferred
- Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and compliance
- Strong leadership, people management, and analytical abilities
