Overall Job Function
The Group Reporting Manager performs various duties to support the reporting function's goal of timeliness and financial reporting standard compliance and consolidating the financial reporting for Innity Group.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and prompt monthly group consolidation report
- Prepare quarterly announcements and relevant board papers for Board meeting
- Liaise closely with external auditor on interim and final group audit planning, ensure meeting statutory deadline, including Bursa reporting and audit deadline.
- Keep abreast of new development of financial reporting standard from time to time, involve in the formulate of methodology and roll out of the implementation in new accounting standards
- Mentoring local and regional finance team on new accounting standards
- Review Innity Group of Companies monthly accounts and ensure in compliance with financial reporting standard
- Responsible for the preparation of annual report and RRPT mandate, quarterly MDEC reporting, Securities Commission shariah compliance reporting
- Arrange annual general meeting, venue booking arrangement, advertisement publication
- Ensuring all accounting, financial policies, procedures and reporting standards are adhered and improved on, where necessary
- To compile and prepare annual consolidation budgeting and forecasting
- Monitor RPT and RRPT transactions, ensure comply to listing requirement
- Support CFO on corporate governance compliances
- Must be able to handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required
Requirements:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in related fields such as Accounting, Finance and Business Management, or a professional certifications body such as CPA, ACCA
- Candidate must be a member of MIA and a registered accountant
- Must have working experience of about 3-5 years in the same capacity
- Must have working experience in a public listed company or any international accounting firm
- Must be familiar with Malaysia accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements
- Must be able to work independently and as a team where situation arises
