Group Technology Infrastructure and Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Group Infrastructure Manager to provide strong technical leadership with a

disciplined engineering, governance, and project delivery mindset across Malaysia and Singapore.

This role is responsible for planning, governing, and supporting the design, implementation, and

operation of the Group's server, systems, network, and cloud infrastructure to ensure stable, secure, and scalable IT platforms.

The Group Infrastructure Manager works closely with local IT teams to assist with operational

activities where required, providing Level 2 (L2) technical support, escalation handling, and subject-matter expertise, while maintaining strong accountability for group-wide infrastructure projects, standards, and governance.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Group-level short- and long-term infrastructure strategies to ensure

server, network, and cloud capacity meets current and future business requirements across

Malaysia and Singapore.

• Ensure infrastructure strategies, roadmaps, and initiatives are aligned with Group IT objectives

and business goals.

• Develop, implement, and govern Group infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures

covering server, systems, network, and cloud environments.

• Plan, procure, and coordinate infrastructure hardware and software deployments across data

centres, offices, and cloud platforms, in collaboration with local IT teams.

• Lead and deliver Group and regional infrastructure projects, including upgrades, lifecycle

refresh, migrations, security improvements, and modernization initiatives.

• Work closely with local IT teams to assist with operational support where required, providing L2

escalation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.

• Oversee and monitor the performance, availability, and security of server, network, and backend

infrastructure, including data centre environments.

• Provide architectural guidance and operational support for hybrid and cloud infrastructure

platforms such as Azure and AWS, ensuring alignment with Group standards.

• Establish and maintain effective communication with Group IT leadership, regional stakeholders,

and local IT teams on infrastructure operations, projects, and risks.

• Oversee infrastructure delivery and readiness for audits, investigations, and project initiatives at

a Group level.

• Manage and govern infrastructure vendors and service providers, including RFP preparation,

contract management, and service performance.

• Ensure infrastructure environments comply with applicable security and governance frameworks

such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS benchmarks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure management or senior technical roles

supporting enterprise environments.

• Strong experience with server, systems, and network infrastructure, including escalationlevel (L2/L3) support.

• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects across multiple sites or regions.
