Role Description The Guest Ambassador Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Genting Highlands, responsible for delivering a welcoming and personalized experience to all guests. This role includes greeting and assisting guests during check-in and check-out, providing information about facilities and nearby attractions, and responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests. The Guest Ambassador Officer coordinates with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and common areas meet quality and safety standards. Daily tasks also involve handling reservations and basic administrative duties, managing guest feedback and complaints professionally, and supporting special requests or events. The role requires maintaining a strong presence in the lobby and common areas to anticipate guest needs and uphold Harvinton Mansion's service standards.
Qualifications
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, professional, and respectful environment for diverse guests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to handle inquiries and feedback calmly.
  • Organization and administrative abilities, such as managing reservations, record-keeping, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to address guest concerns, unexpected issues, and service recovery situations effectively.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and property management or booking systems; willingness to learn new software as needed.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, front office, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site in Genting Highlands on a rotating schedule, including weekends and public holidays when required.
  • Professional appearance, reliability, and a high level of integrity, with attention to detail in both guest interactions and facility standards.
