Job Description

About The Little Gym

For over 50 years, The Little Gym has been the world's premier children's development franchise, helping millions of children aged 4 months to 12 years build confidence, coordination, and character through gymnastics inspired movement, music, and imaginative play. With over 400 locations across 30+ countries, we combine a globally recognized curriculum with a warm, supportive culture that values both our members and our team.

We're not just a gym—we're a community of passionate professionals dedicated to nurturing confident kids, one cartwheel, somersault, and high-five at a time. We take our mission seriously, but we never forget to have fun doing it.

The Opportunity

This is not just a job—it's a career defining leadership pathway.

We are seeking an exceptional operational leader who is equally comfortable with commercial performance and connecting with children and families. As a Gym Director (In-Training), you will complete a structured 6 to 9month intensive training program mentored directly by our Gym Leader. You will master our operating systems, revenue model, brand standards, and people processes before fully stepping into the Gym Director role—where you will own the business performance of our branch.

If you love working with children, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the commercial acumen to drive growth, this is your opportunity to build a meaningful career with a global brand that makes a real difference.

What You'll Do

Operations & Revenue Management - Own the gym's P&L. Drive quarterly revenue targets, monthly enrolled/paid (E&P) member growth, intro-visit (IV) scheduling, and retention rates. Monitor weekly sub-KPIs (enrolments, cancellations, collections) and proactively pivot strategies to close performance gaps. Present data driven performance reviews to the Gym Leader.

Class Delivery & Floor Leadership - Spend 50% of your working hours delivering Gold standard classes and driving lobby/member engagement. Use floor time to model exceptional service, build meaningful relationships with parents and children, and identify real-time sales opportunities. You're not just managing from the office—you're leading from the floor.

Team Leadership & HR - Build a high accountability culture where excellence is the standard. Oversee all gym staffing, conduct midyear and yearend performance reviews, and ensure every team member has a career development plan with corresponding training actions. Partner with the Gym Leader and HR on recruitment, retention, and employee relations.

Admin, Sales & Mall Relations - Ensure 100% accuracy of our operating system (MBO) through rigorous closing duties. Oversee timely cash collections and account renewals. Execute local sales and marketing plans in partnership with the Marketing Director. Serve as the primary liaison with shopping mall management for maintenance, marketing permissions, and facility standards—always keeping the Gym Leader and GM informed.

Performance Reporting - Lead weekly operational tracking against KPIs. Present monthly operations reports (performance vs. target, status of prior month's actions, and new action plan) and quarterly business reviews to the Gym Leader. Ensure all important directions from the Gym Leader are cascaded effectively to the team
