Job Responsibility
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing agency training programs, identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancement to align with market demands and company objectives.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for agency training that directly addresses challenges in agent retention and activity rates, focusing on measurable outcomes.
- Introduce innovative training methodologies, including digital learning platforms, blended learning, and experiential learning approaches, to ensure programs are engaging and effective.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory changes in the life insurance sector to ensure training content is always current and relevant.
- Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of all training curricula for new and experienced agents, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, prospecting, client relationship management, compliance, and ethical practices.
- Ensure training programs are tailored to various agent segments and career stages, from onboarding and foundational skills to advanced sales strategies and leadership development for agency leaders.
- Implement robust evaluation methodologies to measure the effectiveness and ROI of training programs, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of agency trainers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on coaching, facilitation skills, and continuous professional growth.

- Promote cross-functional collaboration with Distribution Channels, Marketing, Product Development, and HR teams to ensure training initiatives are integrated and support overall business goals
- Act as a key liaison between the training department and agency leaders, understanding their needs and ensuring training solutions meet business requirements.
- Present training strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, demonstrating the impact of training on agent performance and business results.
- Identify, manage and control data risks, monitor performance and uphold data integrity.
- Support the implementation of HLA's operational resilience framework, including outsourcing risk, business continuity and disaster recover management within the Division.
- Ensure implementation of data policies, procedures and controls to safeguard any documents or information relating to the affairs or account of a customer of the financial institution (customer information).
Job Requirement
- At least 10 years experience in a similar industry, with proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and high performing teams.
- Proven track record of success in designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale training programs that have demonstrably improved sales performance, retention, and activity rates.
- Prior experience leading and developing a team of trainers.
- Solid understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and various training delivery methods (e.g., in-person, virtual, e-learning, blended).
