Job Description

Job Summary

Reporting to the CSO, the role involves formulating marketing and business development plans for Bancatakaful Regular Product. This includes managing implementation activities to ensure the effective execution of strategies to achieve business targets. You will work closely with internal team members and external counterparts to drive profitability while maintaining full compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and formulate marketing and business development strategies for Bancatakaful Regular Individual Products, ensuring alignment with Banca Agreement objectives for business growth and retention.
  • Communicate and implement action plans, while tracking and reporting on progress to ensure all business targets are met.
  • Plan and manage the Bancatakaful Regular portfolio, including headcount and resource planning, to meet both daily operational needs and projected business growth.
  • Lead the team to deliver efficient and effective customer service, ensuring all productivity benchmarks and SLA/TAT requirements are consistently met.
  • Partner with the CSO to ensure all internal departments and resources are aligned to support the marketing and operational goals of Bancatakaful Regular.
  • Supervise, train, and coach business development and support staff, providing the motivation and guidance needed to achieve high competency levels and deliver business results.
  • Gather and analyze internal and external statistics to identify market trends and anticipate changes. Proactively highlight concerns for management action to ensure the Bancatakaful Regular business remains competitive.
  • Review and update all policies, procedures, and official communications. Ensure full compliance with relevant rules and regulations, while providing timely and accurate management reports as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Degree in Insurance/Takaful, Business Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a managerial role and 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Wide exposure in the Bancatakaful business, with deep familiarity with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Proven ability in strategic business planning and execution.
  • Strong track record in Project Management, developing SOPs, and driving work process improvements.
  • A clear appreciation of the workflow and link between business development, support, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and commercial drivers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influential skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A high sense of commitment and the ability to work and deliver results under pressure.
  • Expertise in planning and strategizing for business growth.
