Responsibilities:

To assist Managing Director, Business Corporate Banking (BCB) in providing oversight and management of Business & Corporate Banking-i (BCB-i) operations and function in an advisory capacity to BCB (HLBB)

• Leading BCB-i function in achieving revenue, asset and profitability targets, which includes but not limited to: Asset growth, Income growth, Asset quality, Cross-selling products Increase market share.

• Directs business development initiatives within the BCB-i, inclusive of efficient resource deployment and customers interactions in accordance to the Bank's corporate objectives

• Working in conjunction with business support units to ensure attention and growth in key economic and account segments (e.g. embedment within community to create franchise awareness through participation of trade associations and community events)

• Evaluate market trends and competitive information whilst identifying trends that effect region's current and future sales and profitability growth

To assist CEO, HLISB or as an alternate when required, in attending various BCB committee meetings

• Engage and maintain good working relationship with product partners and working partners within the Bank, Hong Leong Financial Group and external stakeholders including, but not limited to Clients and Regulatory bodies.

• Management of liquidity and to be in compliance with BNM's Liquidity Requirements, Statutory Reserve Requirement as well as Bank's other limits and requirements, as well as to uphold Shariah Governance requirements in the products and processes relevant for the BCB-i products and solutions.

• As a member of the Bank's Assets & Liabilities Committee, the incumbent is responsible to provide strategic oversight on the Bank's balance sheet as well as achieving fee-based profitability targets.

• Liaising with internal and external parties with regards to BCB-i related operations and responsibilities.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 10 years experience in corporate banking or client management relationships and preferably with Islamic Banking experience included.

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or any related field.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, leadership qualities, responsible, multi tasker, result oriented, team player.
