Responsibilities:
This position requires someone with the ability to:
- Lead the development of methodologies for measuring Credit Portfolio Management across MY and Regional countries for Cards and Personal Loans and associated models/ processes
- Support the Head of Regional Risk, Compliance and Projects in enhancing and reviewing Group Cards Credit Policies & Standards to ensure alignment with the best practices
- Strengthen the Credit Reporting & Monitoring framework to meet the requirements of various external & internal stakeholders
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Credit Risk reports, analyse findings and provide recommendations to Senior Management
- Contribute requirements and design inputs on credit risk recognition, measurement and reporting, as part of the core team responsible for implementation of key credit risk related projects (e.g. Basel, FRS 9)
- Provide expert inputs on credit policy, procedure and Credit Risk analytics. Support MY and Regional Countries during credit risk model development and on-going maintenance
- Assess and recalibrate statistical models or off the shelf Credit Risk models as needed
- Facilitate development of Application scorecard, Behavioral scorecard, cut off score settings and asset quality management.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree with strong knowledge on Retail Banking and/or Cards
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and is able to articulate well with good oral & writing skills
- Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good analytical skills and preferably with Credit Risk knowledge
- Expertise in Credit Risk analytics with skillsets in Python/ analytical tools will be added advantage
