To plan and drive the strategic directions to develop, improve and implement group risk management frameworks, policies, guidelines/procedures, methodologies and reporting in alignment with the Family Takaful & Life Insurance business objectives of Etiqa's aspirations.
To drive the development of the Family Takaful & Life Insurance risk analytics and models in assessing Etiqa's underwriting performance.
To continuously develop new/revise risk analytics and models in assessing Etiqa's underwriting performance.
To establish the Risk Appetite for each the Family Takaful & Life Insurance business entities. To establish risk appetite for each Family Takaful & Life Insurance business entities to support Etiqa's overall risk appetite.
To review submission of Persistency Rate by Distribution Channel (PRDC) to BNM. Validate data results for PDRC preparation. Liaise with Heads of Reporting and Approvers to get approval before submitting to Statsmart Portal.
To assess and review the development of new/enhanced the Family Takaful & Life Insurance products, and relevant policies. To lead the assessment and review of the development of new products (Family/Life). Review methodology of product risk assessment from time to time.
To evaluate the Stress Test results for the Family Takaful & Life Insurance entities in terms of underwriting and insurance risk.
To drive the development, analysis and monitoring of the Family Takaful & Life Insurance Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to underwriting risks. To promote development of new KRIs to better monitor the Company's underwriting risk.
To lead, develop and monitor ESG related life and family takaful risks and support compliance with existing requirements from Etiqa, Maybank and BNM. To drive the Family Takaful & Life Insurance Risk staff management and development plan.
To drive the Family Takaful & Life Insurance Risk staff management and development plan. To perform local risk management and governance roles. To perform review for SMT level.
Job Requirement
Minimum Degree or professional qualification in Insurance, Actuarial, Risk Management, Statistics or other relevant disciplines.
An analytical mind with at least 8 years in working experience in Actuarial, Risk Management, Product Development, or Insurance Analytics in Insurance Industry.
At least 10 years working experience in related areas either Actuarial or Risk Management.
