Head, Governance, Virtual Banking & Payments

Job Responsibilities:

Leading a governing role in ensuring departmental adherence to the policies and guidelines under Virtual Banking & Payments.

Ensure compliance, safeguarding of intellectual assets, promotes integrity and operational effectiveness throughout Virtual Banking & Payments.

Disseminate the regulatory requirement and drive the implementation of the requirement and conduct random internal audit on the compliance.

Constant interaction and communication with external regulatory bodies, Group Risk Management & Group Compliance.

Ensure effective monitoring and reporting of internet threat, fraud activities and investigation and cyber surveillance.

Ensure effective reporting and analysis of quality assurance quality improvement resulting in enhanced customer experience.

Ensure efficient management of end-to-end periodic audit process for Virtual Banking & Payments departments.

Establish and maintain Business Continuity Management for Virtual Banking & Payments.

Ensure Outsourcing Risk is monitored in line with guidelines issued by the Banks and Bank Negara Malaysia.

Job Requirements:

Managerial experience in related fields.

Good financial and business understanding preferably in areas such as Banking, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Information Technology and Internet Banking.

Ability to apply and achieve Maybank's competency standards related to Strategic Thinking, Relationship Building/Networking, Customer Centricity, Analytical Thinking and Interpersonal Communication Skills.

Foster inter-department collaboration: to interface, work and communicate closely with other supporting department within the Bank.

Has experience dealing with regulatory bodies and external auditors.
