JOB SUMMARY:-
Responsible for the overall strategic planning, design, implementation, security, and operations of
the Group's technology infrastructure. This role ensures that the Group's data centers, cloud
platforms, networks, endpoints, and IT operations are reliable, secure, scalable, and aligned with
business needs. The position leads multiple teams across network, systems, cloud, IT operations,
and workplace technologies, while driving infrastructure modernization and operational
excellence across the Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / MAJOR TASKS:-
Infrastructure Strategy & Architecture
- Develop and execute a long-term IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with Group IT strategy and evolving business priorities.
- Lead modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, network transformation, cybersecurity enhancement, and resilience improvements.
- Define and enforce enterprise architecture standards across servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, LAN/WAN, wireless, and end-user computing technologies.
IT Operations & Service Reliability
- Oversee end-to-end infrastructure operations to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and service reliability.
- Implement and govern ITIL-based practices including incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve SLAs and KPIs to enhance service delivery and user experience.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen infrastructure security posture across endpoints, networks, identity & access management, patching, and backup controls.
- Lead disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning for infrastructure, including regular testing and readiness assurance.
Cloud, Data Centre & Network Leadership
- Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises data centers, co-location facilities, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud).
- Define and drive network strategy including SD-WAN, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and network segmentation.
- Ensure scalable, secure, and standardized infrastructure deployment and operations across all environments.
People Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing infrastructure team across multiple technology domains.
- Manage external vendors, partners, and managed service providers (MSPs) to ensure cost efficiency, quality delivery, and SLA adherence.
- Promote a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and ongoing skills development within the team.
Budgeting & Governance
- Plan and manage infrastructure budgets, including CAPEX, OPEX optimization, and technology refresh cycles.
- Maintain governance over IT assets, licensing, lifecycle management, and adherence to technology standards and policies.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions supporting business initiatives.
- Provide strategic advisory on infrastructure implications for digital transformation, expansion, and M&A activities.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:-
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a medium to large enterprise environment.
- Proven experience managing hybrid-cloud infrastructure, enterprise networks, and IT operations in complex, multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated track record in infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity alignment, and driving operational excellence and service reliability.
- Strong expertise across: Networking: LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, wireless technologies
- Infrastructure Platforms: Servers, storage, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Cloud Technologies: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud
- Digital Workplace: Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Endpoint Management: Intune, SCCM, and related tools
- Resilience & Monitoring: Backup, disaster recovery (DR), monitoring, and observability tools
- Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, cybersecurity best practices, and enterprise architecture principles
- Strong people leadership with experience managing multi-disciplinary infrastructure teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
- Proven ability in vendor management and commercial negotiations
