Nexus Global Operator (NGO) is the joint venture entity established by PayNet and NETS to serve as the Nexus Technical Operator, responsible for building, operating and securing the core technology platform for Nexus. Nexus is designed to transform cross-border payments by connecting domestic instant payment systems across markets through a single, standardized platform. This is a rare opportunity to help build critical global payments infrastructure, backed by two national payment infrastructure operators with proven experience in world class real-time payment ecosystems.

What You'll Own
- Lead and oversee all business operations functions, ensuring processes, systems, and resources are aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Product Lead to define and execute operational strategies for growth, market expansion, and product delivery.
- Own the onboarding of participants, including instant payment system operators, foreign exchange partners, and other payment network partners, ensuring smooth integration and compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- Drive operational excellence by standardizing processes, introducing KPIs, and improving workflows across teams.
- Oversee performance management, project delivery, and resource allocation across business units.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to provide visibility into operational performance.
- Support business development initiatives, including partnerships, vendor management, and regulatory compliance where required.
- Serve as a bridge between strategic leadership and execution teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
- Support the phased establishment and maturation of business operations capabilities, processes, and governance.
Who You Are
You are a strategic operator and hands-on builder, comfortable designing at scale while navigating ambiguity in a fast-evolving environment.
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting, preferably in fintech, payments, or high-growth tech companies.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational efficiency at scale.
- Experience with payment participant onboarding, such as IPSO, FXP, or other network operators, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience working in global markets and managing multiple geographies is a plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environment.
- Experience helping build or formalize operating models, governance, or cross-functional processes would be an advantage.

- Experience with ISO 20022 implementations.
- Real-time payments or clearing connectivity programs.
