Role Description

We are seeking a Head of Compliance for a full-time, on-site role based in Kuala Lumpur. The Head of Compliance will be responsible for overseeing compliance strategies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and implementing robust compliance frameworks. Key responsibilities include developing company-wide policies, monitoring legal and regulatory updates, conducting internal audits, and providing guidance on best compliance practices. The candidate will act as the main point of contact and actively liaise with regulatory authorities and lead the development of a culture of ethical integrity within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Compliance Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Legal Compliance to ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and laws, along with a proven track record in managing compliance-related matters.
• Experience: Minimum 57 years in Compliance, Risk, or Legal, with mandatory experience in Digital Assets/Custody solutions.
• Ensure the company maintains ongoing compliance with the SC's Guidelines on Digital Assets, AMLA 2001, and the Capital Markets and Services Act.
• Exceptional Analytical Skills to identify risks, assess compliance gaps, and recommend effective solutions.
• Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional compliance certifications (e.g., ICA, CAMS) are a plus.
