Head of Contribution Collection Management

JOB SUMMARY

This role is a Senior Manager-level position that leads the Contribution Collection Management Section and oversees contribution collection, banking, fund flow, and related operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and secure processing of EPF contributions. The role drives service excellence, operational improvements, banking stakeholder management, and team performance to deliver efficient and trusted services to employers and members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead contribution collection, banking, and daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliation operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of contributions across all payment channels.
• Oversee the timely completion of monthly and yearly contribution account closing processes.
• Drive process improvement, operational efficiency and service excellence initiatives.
• Manage banking partners and monitor service performance to ensure effective service delivery.
• Analyse operational performance and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Support organisational transformation and digitalisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and financial control requirements.

JOB COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

• Skilled in accounting & banking operations, fund flow management and bank reconciliation processes to ensure financial accuracy, integrity and compliance.
• Skilled in delivering presentations to Top Management.
• Strong knowledge of contribution collection, payment processing and financial operations, including receipting and accounting-related workflows.
• Able to analyse operational data, performance metrics and trends to generate insights, support decision-making and drive business improvements.
• Familiar with governance, compliance, risk management and internal control practices within a regulated operational environment.
• Proficient in operational reporting and performance monitoring tools, with the ability to translate data into strategic and actionable recommendations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Malaysian citizen
• Pass in Bahasa Melayu (including the oral test) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
• Possess a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Banking or an equivalent field recognized by the Government, from an accredited higher learning institution.
• Possess 13 to 16 years of relevant experience in banking, financial operations, reconciliation, collection management, or related functions, including at least 5 to 8 years in a leadership role managing teams and operations.
