Job Description
- Active participation in the implementation of data governance solution and optimization of data governance frameworks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (on premise & cloud).
- Implement and maintain data governance solutions and tools such as data catalogs, data quality monitoring tools, and lineage tracking solutions. Provide recommendations for tools and techniques to improve the governance process.
- Assist in managing data governance projects from concept to implementation.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units and the data steward community, to facilitate multi-level stakeholder discussions, gather requirements, build consensus, and drive adoption.
- Collaborate with data management team, data architectural team and other technical teams to ensure the effective running of data governance operations, processes and supports data management practices such as data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data cataloging, reference data, etc.
- Assist in the development, enforcement, and continuous improvement of data governance policies, data standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Provide guidance and awareness training to data steward community and stakeholders on data governance principles and tools. Act as a subject matter expert in data governance best practices.
