Job Description
Position Purpose
The Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM), APAC is expected to drive AUM and revenue generation through formulating investment strategies and actively managing and promoting DPM products and services, while maintaining strong risk controls.

The Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM), APAC is expected to drive AUM and revenue generation through formulating investment strategies and actively managing and promoting DPM products and services, while maintaining strong risk controls.
Responsibilities
- Deepen DPM penetration in client portfolios in line with targets
- Develop strong relationships with all key DPM accounts in APAC
- Increase the productivity of the DPM activity/reporting
- Make direct joint marketing call with Relationship Managers especially for tailor-made mandates
- Leverage on investment counsellors to promote DPM products
- Provide regular information and updates to RMs about DPM activity and performance during the weekly investment huddles
- Represent APAC at Global Committees
- Formulate marketing and investment strategies in accordance with central DPM guidelines
- Study and develop new mandates and products suitable to Asian clients
- Develop close relationship with market specialists on the Advisory Desk, especially for the local mandates with local underlying
- Ensure portfolio management activity complies with the Managed Assets Charter
- Manage and supervise the DPM teams in Asia to develop synergies between DPM HK and Singapore
- Direct contribution to BNPP's operational permanent control framework
- Responsible for the implementation of Operational Permanent Control policies and procedures in day-to-day business activities
- Responsible for reporting all incidents according to the Incident Management System
- At least 15 years experience in managing DPM teams, preferred in private banking background
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Portfolio Management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Asian Markets preferred
- University degree
- Professional qualification: Chartered Financial Analyst preferred
