We are conducting a highly confidential search on behalf of one of our clients, a global leading manufacturing multinational corporation, to hire the Head of Engineering based in Negri Sembilan, Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Operations Leadership
- Lead the Industrial Engineering function across the plant.
- Oversee process engineering, equipment performance, automation initiatives, and facility utilities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
Capacity Planning & Process Optimisation
- Conduct capacity analysis and support production planning to ensure optimal resource utilisation.
- Improve manufacturing processes to maximise production capacity, quality, and efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve operational flow.
Automation & Digitalisation
- Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives within the plant.
- Support implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and data-driven operational tools.
Capex & Engineering Projects
- Lead and manage Capex projects related to equipment, automation, facility upgrades, and plant expansion.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate engineering investments and deliver project outcomes.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to share best practices and improve operational standards.
- Work closely with manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, and leadership teams to align operational strategies.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of engineers and technical specialists.
- Establish performance goals, support talent development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
