Job Description

Position Overview

The Head of Expansion & Infrastructure is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic development, physical expansion, and operational infrastructure of the company's F&B outlets. This role supervises and drives the performance of three core departments. Outlet Expansion, Renovation & Construction, and Facilities Management to ensuring high efficiency, seamless cross-functional collaboration, and strong operational excellence. This role requires full-time monitoring, high-impact leadership, and strong decision-making to support the company's growth strategy and long-term operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Facilities Management, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 812 years of experience in expansion, construction, fit-out, or facilities roles, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
  • Experience leading multiple teams or departments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Departmental Leadership & Operations Oversight

  • Lead and oversee three key departments to ensure smooth operations, strong alignment, and overall efficiency.
  • Drive a high-performing and complete department ecosystem that requires continuous monitoring and hands-on leadership.
  • Strengthen cross-functional leadership, ensuring collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Legal.

2. Outlet Expansion & Renovation Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of outlet expansion, including site evaluation, feasibility studies, and new store openings.
  • Lead renovation planning, layout optimization, and store design to meet brand standards.
  • Review all BQ, drawings, layouts, and specifications prior to approval to ensure accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

3. Facilities Management

  • Supervise the maintenance and facilities management function to ensure outlets operate safely, efficiently, and without disruption.
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Optimize vendor and contractor performance through clear SLAs and KPI tracking.

4. Budgeting, CAPEX & Financial Oversight

  • Develop and manage annual CAPEX budgets for expansion, renovation, and maintenance.
  • Monitor timelines, budget allocation, and project expenditures to ensure cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management review.

5. Project Management & Timeline Execution

  • Lead project timelines from planning to completion, ensuring all milestones are met within scope and budget.
  • Establish strong project governance, workflow processes, and best practices across all teams.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

6. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and performance management for the Expansion, Renovation, and Facilities teams.
  • Enhance multi-department collaboration to support business goals and operational excellence.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Office tools & project management systems
  • Solid experience in budgeting, reporting, and visual planning tools
  • Ability to read and interpret BQ, technical drawings, layouts, and site plans
  • Data-driven decision making with strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of CAPEX management, timeline planning, and facility operations
